I would like to thank you for the absolutely wonderful experience we had in Quebec City. Your leadership, organizing, and personal skills are second to none. Even though this was the inaugural event I couldn't imagine how you could possibly improve upon this effort. My daughter was very upset that we had to head home on Monday. She made so many new friends from so many different Countries. Already she is communicating via MSN and Facebook. I too made many new friends and came to learn so much of how hockey can bring us all together. We would also like to thank all those who helped you out, Kristina, the Fins, and the Quebec guys. Again thank you all so much for the experience of a life time. Hopefully you will be able to continue this event. …Parent

What an emotional and unforgettable weekend we all had. I want to again congratulate all the persons from near and far that helped make this Skill Challenge possible. …Parent

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for all you hard work putting together such a special weekend for all of the kids -- it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. …Parent

Just a quick thank you for your great work; the accommodation and game seats were fantastic and you did a superb job which I know was not easy. …Parent

Thanks a lot for everything, my son had a great time and really enjoyed his stay in Quebec. He made a ton of friends from around the world and had a great time on and off the ice. It was an experience he will never forget.

Everything was great and you all did a wonderful job to ensure that the kids had a memorable time. Melanie and Corey said the events were very well organized, the accommodations were wonderful and the meals were great. Corey is very passionate about hockey and I am sure that this hockey experience will be one that he will always cherish. …Parent

We are just thrilled…what a wonderful experience for our family! Thank you so much for all of your superb organizational work…it made for a very professional experience.

You often hear about how Hockey Canada is such a class organization. Having been ‘inside the ropes’ at this event, we couldn’t agree more! From getting the kids and families into two IIHF games (Russia – Czech and Russia – Italy) to having the IIHF World Championship Cup present at our event’s Opening Ceremonies to arranging tours, etc., our experience was absolutely wonderful! Please pass on our appreciation to the entire event team…very impressive!

I often commented while in Quebec that the entire event had a ‘dream like’ quality to it from our perspective…the entire Hockey Canada team along with the IIHF reps had a huge part in creating that atmosphere! …Parent

What an amazing 5 days; a once in a lifetime opportunity that we will never forget. We are very grateful and appreciative to have been part of the 1st IIHF Skills Challenge. Corey McNabb was great when he met us at the airport, Shaun Bullock made us feel very welcomed and special, and Donna Kester was amazing in all that she organized, even with all the little details. Thank you to the three of you. We really enjoyed our time thoroughly.

The Hockey was great. My son really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know the participants from the other countries. He has made many friends that he continues to communicate with through MSN, and texting. We have made friendships from Ontario that we have made plans to connect with this summer. The Hockey games at the Mens World Championship were incredible, thank you for that also. It must have been neat for the Russian participants to see their countries team playing. For me I really enjoyed interacting with other Hockey Associations to see how they run their organizations.

I would like to tell the IIHF if I could that this event was amazing and I hope it would be there for other children and parents to enjoy. …Parent
